Congratulations to Lance Compton for being recognized as a leader at Red Clay Interactive and in the state of Georgia.
The Georgia Chamber of Commerce appointed Red Clay Interactive president and CEO Lance Compton to two standing committees for the 2012 business year. Compton will serve his second year on the state Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Council and begins his first on the External Affair Committee. Compton enters his fifth year of serving on the Board of Directors for the Chamber.
The Small Business Advisory Council was formed in 2011 and is comprised of small business owners and leaders from around the State of Georgia. The charter of the committee is to be the pulse of the state’s small business community and to advise the Chamber on how to support those businesses. Duties include recommending new Chamber programs and services that directly benefit small businesses and giving feedback on proposed state and federal legislation and how it affects small business.
The External Affairs Committee will provide oversight for the Chamber’s external affairs functions including branding, advertising and communications programs to members and non-members throughout the State. Compton was recruited specifically to advise the Chamber on how to be more effective in their interactive marketing efforts
